We are constantly seeking to improve the range of services to our patients and currently offer:

  • Doctor and advanced nurse practitioner consultations
  • Extended hours appointments - via the Primary Care Network
  • Long term condition reviews for:
    • Coronary heart disease
    • Heart failure
    • High blood pressure
    • Diabetes
    • Kidney disease
    • Previous strokes
    • Dementia
    • Depression
    • Severe mental illness
    • Epilepsy
    • Asthma
    • Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
  • Learning disability health checks
  • Weight management referrals
  • Cervical screening (smear tests)
  • Contraceptive services
  • Maternity services - in conjunction with local midwives
  • Child health surveillance
  • Certain vaccinations, immunisations and injections
  • Certain joint injections - only at the instigation of one of our GPs
  • Certain minor surgery procedures
  • Phlebotomy (taking blood samples)
  • Ankle brachial pressure index (circulation) tests
  • Monitoring of certain higher risk drugs
  • Social prescribing link worker assessments
  • Structured medication reviews - via the medicines management team
  • Mental health assessments - via our mental health practitioner
  • Cancer care support - via our cancer navigator
